What did I learn ?

I had seen the light. Everything that I was meant to do was either slightly bent or completely thrown out the window. I had lossed about $4700 in this arena and as a student that hurt a lot. Nothing comes for free in this life, everything cost money. In this case it cost me $4700 to learn the ins and outs of this arena.
Experience = Money.
Most of the program that I did invest in said they did some sort of trading. They could return you 2% per day. Now I know it’s highly unlikely. Although it is very possible you can make that much per day but in reality you won’t be making that consistently. I was never ever going to invest in a ponzi again. Be suspicious of high returns.

Although it is possible to get paid even 100% in a day with small deposits the chances are very slim, you usually have to be the one of the first investors. Someone is going to lose out. I was now able to identify a ponzi instantly.
Here are the few points I learnt from my experience.

Lesson 1.     98% of HYIP programs are scams
Lesson 2.     Do not invest what you can’t afford to lose
Lesson 3.     Always withdraw your principle out and play with “house money”
Lesson 4.     Diversify! Never put all your eggs in one basket.
Lesson 5.     Don’t jump straight in. Do due diligence
Lesson 6.     Do due diligence on someone else’s due diligence
Lesson 7.     Past performance is not equal to future performance!
Lesson 8.     Invest without emotions
Lesson 9.     Learn from others mistake
Lesson 10.   Keep expanding your knowledge of this arena.

From that point on, I consider myself an experienced investor.
